Dear Friends,

We would like to start off thanking you for your prayer support to our ministry. We are so grateful for you because of your choice to be an encouragement to us.

We seek your prayer for a very important matter. There was a situation that happened which involved the national missionary pastor with whom we are working in the church plant at Sotref. We sought advice from his sending church and pastor, and they felt it necessary for him to return for counsel. At first we were concerned how this would affect the church ministry, and also us since it all would fall 100% on our shoulders again. Yet, we knew that we must do what is pleasing in the sight of God and have confidence that He will bless when we do what is correct (1 John 3:21-22).

The month of February was busy adding the full-time church ministry to the Bible Institute. We were surprised, though, at a number of things. First off, some people who had stopped coming were returning. Secondly, the church began to grow. We are thankful for the ministry of Ruth Marie Cuthbertson, who came to the church to do chalk art on Wednesday evenings. A number of people made professions of faith in Christ and continue to come faithfully.

We are also thankful that Joanne Sopt has returned. Joanne attended a financial seminar in the US specifically geared towards providing teaching materials in an international context to encourage sustainability. “Crown Ignite” believes that sustainability can be reached by encouraging people to apply Biblical principles to their businesses, their church ministries, and their individual lives.

We will be holding several seminars in March and April. Joanne will teach subjects such as “Our Purpose in Business” and “Finances”. Steve will teach subjects such as, “Ownership” and “Integrity” in finances.
